Are 'Friends' Electric? single

I first recorded my demo of my cover of Gary Numan's "Afe 'Friends' Electric?" in June of 1993. By 1996, it was still not out, and I was loudly complaining of my fear that someone else would release it as a single before I got to. Cleopatra tried to accomodate me by putting out this advance DJ-only single to "establish my claim" to the song. Nonetheless, Republica and at least 2 other bands came out with covers of it in 1997... Oh well.
I recorded both of these songs with Fred in 07/96 and 08/96. Track 1 is a shorter edit of the album version, which is track 3.

Equipment used on this single included:
Logic and Logic Audio sequencing software running on some kind of computer that wasn't a PC
Akai S-1000 samplers
Alesis ADAT's.
E-Mu's Proteus 2
2 Roland MKS-50's
2 Roland MKS-80's
Roland R8-M
Roland JV-880
Roland JD-990
Roland SRV-2000 reverb
Boss (Roland) SE-50 multi-effects
SoundTracs Solo MIDI mixer.
