| In 10/96, as I was formalizing InSoc's relationship with Cleopatra records, Brian McNellis contacted my manager and told him about this compilation of covers of music from Sci-Fi movies and TV shows they were going to do. He asked if InSoc would do a piece for it. Of course, I immediately said "Dr. Who! Dr. Who!!", but it was taken. So I settled on the incidental music from the Old Star Trek episode called "The Doomsday Machine", in which a miles-long space log wanders around eating planets. It was one of the better T.O.S.'s, and the music for it was superb. My version of it is on this CD. |
