InSoc on "Sci-Fi Cafe" compilation

In 10/96, as I was formalizing InSoc's relationship with Cleopatra records, Brian McNellis contacted my manager and told him about this compilation of covers of music from Sci-Fi movies and TV shows they were going to do. He asked if InSoc would do a piece for it. Of course, I immediately said "Dr. Who! Dr. Who!!", but it was taken. So I settled on the incidental music from the Old Star Trek episode called "The Doomsday Machine", in which a miles-long space log wanders around eating planets. It was one of the better T.O.S.'s, and the music for it was superb. My version of it is on this CD.

Equipment used on this album included:
Voyetra's Seqencer Plus Gold MIDI computer sequencer.
Akai S-1000 samplers.
Roland MKS-80 analogue synth.
Roland D-110 PCM synth
Roland SRV-2000 reverb
Roland Promars Compu-phonic analogue monophonic synth
E-MU Proteus
Boss (Roland) SE-50 multi-effects
