Think single

This was The first single from Hack. It got into the Billboard top 40, like "What's On Your Mind" did, but not as high. My favorite thing about that was the week in which "Think" was #28, Donny Osmond's come-back hit was #27, and David Cassidy's come-back hit was #29.

DAVID CASSIDY (KEITH PARTRIDGE)

Yes, we were in the company of greatness.

The two narrow pictures above are the Japanese 3-inch CD-single. Note that the Japanese used a different photo which shows the old Minnesota License plate. I now have plates that say "Vector". (I'm so 31337!)
As usual, the vinyl and CD versions had different things on them. In addition to what was on the CD, the vinyl had the "Phone Phreak Mix", the "Virtual Dub", and the a cappella. The vinyl did not have the Hack Radio Edit.
For those of you who are incredibly sick of the use of techno-buzzterms in an attempt to be cool, please consider that this was 1990, and we were just being silly. They demand names for these mixes, and there's no reason to name them, so we just started trying to think of funny ways to name mixes.

Equipment used on this album included:
Voyetra Sequencer Plus MIDI sequencing software
DigiDesign's ProTools
Akai S-1000 sampler
Roland MKS-80 analogue synth
Roland MKS-50 analogue synth
Roland D-50 PCM synth
Roland D-110 PCM synth
Roland U-110 PCM synth
Roland D-550 PCM synth
Oberheim Matrix 1000
Roland SRV-2000 reverb
Eventide Ultra-harmonizer
Yamaha SPX-1000 multi-effects
And a whole lot of other stuff.
